# From Tokyo to Gothenburg for development of sustainable tech

Sankar will be employed by Smoltek Hydro­gen and share his time between our efforts to devel­op our inno­v­a­tive elec­trolyz­er mate­r­i­al (ECM) and post­doc­tor­al research in PEM anode coat­ings togeth­er with Prof. Zhenyuan Xia from the Insti­tute of Mate­r­i­al Sci­ence at Chalmers Uni­ver­si­ty of Technology.

Sankar has most recent­ly made a post­doc­tor­al stay at IMS Chalmers and Tokyo Insti­tute of Tech­nol­o­gy and he is bring­ing his com­pe­tence in mate­r­i­al sci­ence and elec­tro­chem­istry to improve the dura­bil­i­ty of our PEM cells and accel­er­at­ing our tech­nol­o­gy a few steps in tech­nol­o­gy readi­ness and mar­ket success.
