Collab for Next-Generation Ultra-Low Iridium Electrolysis Technology
Together with Heraeus Precious Metals Smoltek Hydrogen develops next-generation, ultra-low iridium Porous Transport Electrodes (PTEs) for Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) water electrolysis. As a major milestone in this partnership, the companies will initiate a rigorous 3,000-hour long-term durability test this autumn.

Smoltek joins MAXBATT – a national industry consortium led by Chalmers University of Technology, where leading players such as Scania, AB Volvo and Volvo Cars are collaborating to develop the battery production of the future.
