# Smoltek enables the next generation digital and fossil-free society

Over the next 5–10 years, two glob­al mega­trends will dom­i­nate indus­try investment:

1. Explo­sive growth in AI, data cen­ters and advanced electronics.
2. The tran­si­tion from fos­sil fuels to fos­sil-free ener­gy and hydrogen.

Both devel­op­ments run into the same prob­lem: today’s tech­nol­o­gy is begin­ning to reach its phys­i­cal and eco­nom­ic limits.
