# Smoltek is getting ready for pilot production of CNF-MIM capacitors

This week Smoltek’s CTO Dr. Farzan Gha­vani­ni is on site in Tai­wan for dis­cus­sions on how to pro­ceed with the project with ITRI’s direc­tor of Smart Sens­ing and Sys­tems Tech­nol­o­gy Cen­ter, Dr. Arthur Lin. 

Smoltek Semi and ITRI have been work­ing close­ly for over a year to stream­line the CNF-MIM front-end-of-line (FEOL) process­es for mass pro­duc­tion of Smoltek’s capac­i­tors. In the next phase of the col­lab­o­ra­tion, the two orga­ni­za­tions will focus on accel­er­at­ing the tran­si­tion from devel­op­ment to vol­ume pro­duc­tion through the imple­men­ta­tion of a pilot line.
