# This is Smoltek

Smoltek devel­ops process tech­nol­o­gy and con­cepts to pre­ci­sion-man­u­fac­ture extreme­ly thin car­bon nanofibers in var­i­ous three-dimen­sion­al struc­tures, which mul­ti­plies the total sur­face that can be coat­ed with dif­fer­ent mate­ri­als. This patent­ed tech­nol­o­gy can solve advanced mate­ri­als engi­neer­ing prob­lems in many oth­er indus­tri­al sec­tors. For instance, the tech­nol­o­gy is used to minia­tur­ize capac­i­tors for the semi­con­duc­tor indus­try and man­u­fac­ture new cel­lu­lar mate­ri­als for mem­branes in elec­trolyz­ers for fos­sil-free hydro­gen production.
