Nano Velcro
The Nano Velcro family improves the interlayer connections in electrochemical cells by using elongated nanostructures that are mechanically entangled between the layers.
The Innovation: An electrochemical sell comprising a layered structure, which comprise at least a first and a second layer. These layers are arranged adjacent to each other and form a first interface. This, the first interface comprises a first plurality of elongated nanostructures connected to a first surface of the first layer that is facing the second layer, and a second plurality of elongated nanostructures connected to a second surface of the second layer facing the first layer. The first plurality of elongated nanostructures and the second plurality of elongated nanostructures are mechanically entangled.
