Smoltek held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, May 14, and the meeting resolved, in accordance with the nomination committee's proposal, to re-elect board members Gustav Brismark, Emma Rönnmark and David Gramnaes and to elect board members Oskar Säfström and Johan Rask. Oskar Säfström was subsequently elected Chairman of the Board.
I am incredibly happy and honored to have been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Smoltek! I look forward to contributing my experience to support Smoltek’s development in licensing deals and strategic initiatives. Now it is time to fire up the engines and launch this innovation rocket. Together with the team, I look forward to driving innovation and taking the company to new heights.
Oskar Säfström, Chairman of the Board at Smoltek.
We also extend our warm thanks to Per Zellman, who has declined re-election due to personal reasons. He leaves a lasting impression after three years on the board, including two as Chairman.
“My time on the Board has been intensive and rewarding. I have great confidence in the current team and wish Smoltek continued success.”, says Per Zellman.
Lena Olving, Chair of the Nomination Committee, comments:
“Per Zellman has laid a solid foundation. We proposed Oskar Säfström due to his strong strategic and financial background, and he brings relevant competence and experience for Smoltek´s next phase.”
After the Annual General Meeting, the new board members and participating shareholders were given a tour of Smoltek’s two in-house laboratories, H2LAB and SmolLAB.
In H2LAB, senior nanotechnology scientist Xin Wen, gave a presentation of the technology for the company’s porous transport electrodes (PTE), and in SmolLAB, project manager Anders Lundgren presented the CNF-MIM capacitor technology.
