Oskar Säfström elected new Chairman of the Board at Smoltek

I am incred­i­bly hap­py and hon­ored to have been elect­ed Chair­man of the Board of Direc­tors of Smoltek! I look for­ward to con­tribut­ing my expe­ri­ence to sup­port Smoltek’s devel­op­ment in licens­ing deals and strate­gic ini­tia­tives. Now it is time to fire up the engines and launch this inno­va­tion rock­et. Togeth­er with the team, I look for­ward to dri­ving inno­va­tion and tak­ing the com­pa­ny to new heights.

We also extend our warm thanks to Per Zell­man, who has declined re-elec­tion due to per­son­al rea­sons. He leaves a last­ing impres­sion after three years on the board, includ­ing two as Chairman.

“Per Zell­man has laid a sol­id foun­da­tion. We pro­posed Oskar Säf­ström due to his strong strate­gic and finan­cial back­ground, and he brings rel­e­vant com­pe­tence and expe­ri­ence for Smoltek´s next phase.”

After the Annu­al Gen­er­al Meet­ing, the new board mem­bers and par­tic­i­pat­ing share­hold­ers were giv­en a tour of Smoltek’s two in-house lab­o­ra­to­ries, H2LAB and SmolLAB.

In H2LAB, senior nan­otech­nol­o­gy sci­en­tist Xin Wen, gave a pre­sen­ta­tion of the tech­nol­o­gy for the com­pa­ny’s porous trans­port elec­trodes (PTE), and in Smol­LAB, project man­ag­er Anders Lund­gren pre­sent­ed the CNF-MIM capac­i­tor technology.
