Smoltek Hydrogen has received an order to carry out a small preliminary study of a special type of electrochemical cell, adapted for electronic devices. This could open new business opportunities for Smoltek.
The buyer of the feasibility study, an electronic device manufacturer, will evaluate the possibility of using Smoltek’s solutions and extensive expertise in nanotechnology for a specific electrochemical application.
As part of the feasibility study, Smoltek Hydrogen will analyze the main technical principles of the commercially available solutions on the market. This could potentially pave the way for further collaboration and future business potential.
Thanks to our close access to advanced equipment at Chalmers University of Technology, we can carry out the feasibility study quickly and efficiently. We will investigate whether our nanostructured electrode, originally developed for hydrogen applications, can be adapted for this application. If this is the case, we see a very interesting business opportunity for commercial use.
