Smoltek Hydrogen has received an order to carry out a small preliminary study of a special type of electrochemical cell, adapted for electronic devices. This could open new business opportunities for Smoltek.
The buyÂer of the feaÂsiÂbilÂiÂty study, an elecÂtronÂic device manÂuÂfacÂturÂer, will evalÂuÂate the posÂsiÂbilÂiÂty of using Smoltek’s soluÂtions and extenÂsive experÂtise in nanÂotechÂnolÂoÂgy for a speÂcifÂic elecÂtroÂchemÂiÂcal application.
As part of the feaÂsiÂbilÂiÂty study, Smoltek HydroÂgen will anaÂlyze the main techÂniÂcal prinÂciÂples of the comÂmerÂcialÂly availÂable soluÂtions on the marÂket. This could potenÂtialÂly pave the way for furÂther colÂlabÂoÂraÂtion and future busiÂness potential.
Thanks to our close access to advanced equipÂment at Chalmers UniÂverÂsiÂty of TechÂnolÂoÂgy, we can carÂry out the feaÂsiÂbilÂiÂty study quickÂly and effiÂcientÂly. We will invesÂtiÂgate whether our nanosÂtrucÂtured elecÂtrode, origÂiÂnalÂly develÂoped for hydroÂgen appliÂcaÂtions, can be adaptÂed for this appliÂcaÂtion. If this is the case, we see a very interÂestÂing busiÂness opporÂtuÂniÂty for comÂmerÂcial use.
