Smoltek patent No. 79 now granted

Smoltek is award­ed a new patent – the first one of a new patent fam­i­ly called Dis­crete CNF-MIM. This inno­va­tion dis­clos­es a dis­crete capac­i­tor com­po­nent based on our CNF-MIM tech­nol­o­gy. This also brings our IP port­fo­lio now to com­prise 79 grant­ed patents.

Inauguration of our in-house hydrogen laboratory

Today we have inau­gu­rat­ed the new in-house hydro­gen lab­o­ra­to­ry. In these facil­i­ties equipped with advanced instru­ments and tools the R&D team can car­ry out per­for­mance mea­sure­ment and long-term tests of elec­trolyz­er cells, and will also be able to man­u­fac­ture test cells.

Smoltek can radically reduce the iridium catalyst loading in PEM electrolyzers

Smoltek has achieved very suc­cess­ful test results of the com­pa­ny’s dis­rup­tive cell mate­r­i­al for PEM elec­trol­y­sers. Pro­to­types with only 0.5 mg of irid­i­um per square cen­time­ter pro­duce as much hydro­gen as a stan­dard mate­r­i­al with 2.5 mg of irid­i­um per square centimeter.
