Smoltek is nominated to the Nordic-Nanotechnology-Company-of-the-Year-Award. The award will be handed out at NanoFourm, in Uppsala, Sweden, September 25-26. The nominated companies will pitch their business idea to a jury that decides which company is the best role model towards other Nordic start-ups within nanotechnology.
- It is fantastic that Smoltek is receiving attention from this home ground arena. Smoltek was already spun out from Chalmers University of Technology back in 2005 and we see ourselves as a nanotechnology pioneer. The timing for this nomination is really interesting due of a commercial breakthrough within reach, says Anders Johansson, Smoltek CEO.
NanoForum is a yearly nanotechnology conference that brings together key entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and policymakers in the Nordic Region. This is the place to get to know what the Nordic region has to offer, all under one roof, within the nanotechnology field. The conference is organized by SwedNanoTech and the City of Uppsala.
