Smoltek presents ultra-thin capacitors together with Yageo

Elec­tron­ica 2022 and SEMICON Europe are held in Munich, Ger­many, 15–18 Novem­ber. This is the first time they are co-loc­ated, and togeth­er they form the largest event and trade fair for elec­tron­ics man­u­fac­tur­ers in Europe. Smol­tek will par­ti­cip­ate togeth­er with Yageo, and present the two company’s joint col­lab­or­a­tion for indus­tri­al­iz­ing and com­mer­cial­iz­ing ultra-thin capa­cit­ors that can be placed closer to the applic­a­tion pro­cessor in mobile phones.

The goal of the col­lab­or­a­tion is to com­mer­cial­ize Smoltek’s tech­no­logy by integ­rat­ing the CNF-MIM (car­bon nan­ofiber capa­cit­or) tech­no­logy into Yageos’s product flow and mar­ket­ing chan­nels. This cre­ates an optim­al way to mar­ket, mass pro­duc­tion and a glob­al sales net­work, while the capa­cit­or tech­no­logy is at the same time intro­duced to addi­tion­al semi­con­duct­or man­u­fac­tur­ers, which strengthens Smoltek’s pos­i­tion and oppor­tun­it­ies to ini­ti­ate more com­mer­cial part­ner­ships based on the company’s tech­no­logy platform.
