Watch Breaking Lab – a German YouTube channel with focus on new technology – when they dive into how there is a possibility to scale up the production of green hydrogen.

“We need green hydrogen. But how can green hydrogen scale up to an industrial level when the crucial electrolysis technology relies on one of the rarest metals on Earth?”
Dr. Jacob Beautemps

This is the key question Dr. Jacob Beautemps asks himself as he reviews the prerequisites for producing green hydrogen using Smoltek’s PTE—coated with Heraeus Precious Metals’ iridium oxide solution—in next-generation PEM electrolyzers.
