Smoltek has engaged Maria Persson Gulda as a senior advisor to strengthen the commercialization of Smoltek Hydrogen’s electrode technology for PEM electrolyzers. Her assignment will focus on industrial customer requirements, product competitiveness and partnerships that can accelerate the path to market.
““Smoltek’s techÂnolÂoÂgy addressÂes a key comÂpetÂiÂtive issue for PEM elecÂtrolÂyÂsis: how to reduce the need for iridÂiÂum while meetÂing perÂforÂmance and operÂaÂtional staÂbilÂiÂty requireÂments. HavÂing worked with the company’s techÂniÂcal and comÂmerÂcial preÂreqÂuiÂsites, I look forÂward to workÂing with the team to develÂop the busiÂness potenÂtial I see in the techÂnolÂoÂgy.”
Maria PersÂson Gulda
Maria PersÂson GulÂda brings extenÂsive expeÂriÂence in indusÂtriÂal techÂnolÂoÂgy selecÂtion and large-scale hydroÂgen plant design. As co-founder and forÂmer CTO of SteÂgra (forÂmerÂly H2 Green Steel), she was responÂsiÂble for plant design, includÂing hydroÂgen proÂducÂtion and process techÂnolÂoÂgy selecÂtion. She will bring this indusÂtriÂal cusÂtomer perÂspecÂtive to Smoltek’s efforts to develÂop a comÂpetÂiÂtive prodÂuct that meets requireÂments for perÂforÂmance, duraÂbilÂiÂty and cost.
“Our goal is to turn techÂniÂcal progress into paid develÂopÂment colÂlabÂoÂraÂtions and long-term indusÂtriÂal partÂnerÂships. Maria’s expeÂriÂence will help us address cusÂtomer requireÂments and develÂop comÂpetÂiÂtive busiÂness modÂels while mainÂtainÂing conÂtrol over capÂiÂtal requireÂments.”
