Smoltek con­ducts oper­a­tions in the devel­op­ment, indus­tri­al­iza­tion and licens­ing of tech­nol­o­gy solu­tions, based on the com­pa­ny’s patent-pro­tect­ed car­bon nanofiber tech­nol­o­gy, for the semi­con­duc­tor indus­try with­in the Group com­pa­ny Smoltek Semi. CEO buys shares for SEK 1.35 million

Smoltek’s CEO Håkan Pers­son has bought 50,000 shares in Smoltek for just over SEK 1.35 mil­lion. The shares were pur­chased from the com­pa­ny’s two largest own­ers, Finn Gram­naes (Gramtec Busi­ness Part­ner) and cur­rent CTO, Peter Enoksson.

The eval­u­a­tion license agree­ment that Smoltek signed in April 2020 with a glob­al man­u­fac­tur­er of elec­tron­ic com­po­nents has been extend­ed fur­ther. The work with­in this project is car­ried out by the sub­sidiary Smoltek Semi, whose main objec­tive is to devel­op and license the man­u­fac­ture of ultra-thin capac­i­tors based on Smoltek’s patent-pro­tect­ed car­bon nanofiber technology.

Smoltek has achieved proof-of-con­cept for high-per­form­ing, nanofiber-based cell mate­r­i­al for PEM-elec­trolyz­ers. In our lab­o­ra­to­ry we have demon­strat­ed that the cell mate­r­i­al ful­fills sev­er­al impor­tant per­for­mance and dura­bil­i­ty require­ments, includ­ing very low con­tact resis­tance, which poten­tial indus­tri­al part­ners have stat­ed that they want to test before a col­lab­o­ra­tion regard­ing the con­tin­ued devel­op­ment can be initiated.
