Smoltek’s 59th patent now granted
Smoltek is awarded yet another approved patent, the fourth this year. The patent is also the third in a patent family protecting solutions for interposers based on the CNF-MIM capacitor concept. This means that our patent portfolio now comprises 59 granted patents.

Smoltek signs evaluation license agreement with leading passive components manufacturer
Smoltek announces that the company has signed yet another evaluation agreement, this time with a leading manufacturer of passive electronics components including capacitors. The agreement relates to an evaluation license where Smoltek’s patented carbon nanofiber-based CNF-MIM technology is evaluated in a joint project. The order value for this first step amounts to approximately SEK 1 million and is intended to lead to a production license agreement in the next step.

Smoltek keep growing its proprietary technology platform. In March 2020 the 57th patent was granted. This is a Pan-European patent which covers interconnects applications.

Smoltek signs evaluation license agreement with leading capacitor manufacturer
Smoltek announces that the company has signed an evaluation agreement with one of the world’s largest capacitor manufacturers. The agreement concerns a project with a license for evaluation of Smoltek’s patented carbon nanofiber-based CNF-MIM technology. The intention is to replace the evaluation agreement with a production license agreement as a next step. The order value for this first step amounts to approximately SEK 1 million.

DC Advisory is a leading global financial advisor with expertise in industrial transactions, with a network in the semiconductor and electronics industry as well as in additional industrial segments where Smoltek’s technology could bring potential benefits. As a subsidiary of the investment bank Daiwa Capital Markets, DC Advisory is a part of the Japanese company group Daiwa Securities Group.
