Smoltek has appointed Gabriel Altby as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will assume the position on April 14, 2026, and will be part of the company’s management team with responsibility for financial governance, reporting and capital market-related matters.

Our CNF-MIM technology has demonstrated stable electrical performance after 2,000 hours in an independent life test conducted by a global capacitor manufacturer. This further strengthens confidence in the reliability of the technology and supports Smoltek’s development of advanced capacitors for AI, RF and optoelectronics, among other applications.

Smoltek is awarded a new patent. This Korean patent is the second of a patent family in the direction of CNF-MIM based compact energy storage interposers. This means that our patent portfolio now comprises 56 granted patents.

A year ago, the capacitance density for the CNF-MIM capacitor technology was at 200 nF/mm2. In May this year it had risen to 350. And now we nearly have doubled that to +650 nF/mm2!
